How to Put a Button on a Post in Blogger

HTML buttons allow you to add all sorts of different features to your posts on Blogger, such as expediting submissions to social networking sites, emailing the post permalink or showcasing another blog. While adding a button may have been complicated in Blogger’s old post editor, the new editor lets you access your post’s HTML code so you can customize it to fit your needs.

Step 1
Copy the complete HTML code for the button you want to put in a post on Blogger.

Step 2
Navigate to Blogger and log in to your account.

Step 3
 Click the “New Post” button on your Dashboard. If you have multiple blogs on Blogger, click the “New Post” button for the specific blog on which you want to add the button.

Step 4 
Type a title for your post into the Title field. Add any text, photos or other content you want to include in your post to the Body field.

Step 5
Click the “Edit HTML” tab on the Create Post page.

Step 6
Paste the HTML code for your button into the HTML for your post inside the “DIV” tags. Paste the button code above your text if you want the button to appear above your text or below your text if you want it to appear below.

Step 7
Click the “Publish Post” button to publish your post with your button.

Tip

• You can add HTML buttons to existing posts by simply pasting the HTML code for the button into the HTML code for the post.
